Simple written directions supported by visual cues help foster independent practice for young learners. Repeated practice helps ensure mastery. The book is divided into four areas: Following Directions (practice shapes, colors, numbers, and sight words while creating simple art projects), Color and Learn (reading color names and simple sentences), Cut and Paste (build early reading skills with life-science based projects), Categorizing (develop critical thinking skills and basic concepts, such as opposites, same/different).
